Kidney proximal tubules derived from LLC-PK1 cell line

CYTOO has developed a first-in-class kidney proximal tube model. This model presents in vivo like characteristics such as cell polarization and formation of a true lumen, together with a high level of key tubular transporter genes.

Fully polarized  proximal tubules, closed lumen, hundreds of structures per well more mature phenotype, high level of megalin, OAT1, OCT2 and CYP3A4 expression.
