CYTOO is a biotechnology company with a primary focus in preclinical R&D on neuromuscular disorders and on disorders affecting muscle health in general. The Company has developed MyoScreen™, a patient-derived skeletal muscle in vitro R&D platform accessible through R&D partnerships. R&D partnerships with pharmaceutical companies are managed by the Business Development team.
CYTOO has 2 additional revenue generating activities, developed from its core micropatterning technology and managed by a Sales Manager (this position):
- the commercialization of innovative cell-based assays derived from skin micropatterned models,
- the commercialization of pre-designed micropatterned cell culture products (chips and multiwell plates).
To fill a vacant position, CYTOO is looking for a highly motivated and result oriented Sales Manager to:

prospect and sell skin-based assays to the cosmetic industry worldwide;

administrate the sales of micropatterned products to academic customers worldwide. Most of the customers are inbound enquiries from scientific publications advertising our products and repeat customers. No prospection is required on this business.

Main duties and responsibilities:
Skin-based assays for the cosmetic industry:

Maintain and develop existing accounts

Identify, qualify, pursue and close new fee-for-service opportunities worldwide

Interact internally with the R&D staff to establish the Statement of Works

Add and update opportunities in SalesForce

Provide accurate forecasts and reports of sales activity in a timely manner
Micropatterned products:
-
Maintain and develop existing key accounts

Administrate the sales from inbound enquiries

Interact internally with the production lab manager and technical experts to identify adequate products

Essential Job Requirements/Qualifications:

An MSc degree in biological sciences

A minimum of 2 years proven sales experience of life science products and/or cell-based assay services

Excellent sales skills including prospecting, public presentation and communication, listening, negotiating, and closing

Ability to translate customer needs into a meaningful proposal

Results oriented and very well-organized
Reporting
The Sales Manager reports to the CEO.

Based on candidate’s experience.
Location
Based in Grenoble with ca. 20 overnight oversea travels per year.
